Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 22 July 2026

These terms govern your use of the hosted Tasklore service at tasklore.sielay.com (the "Service"), provided by Sielay Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you use Tasklore on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.

What the Service does

Tasklore connects to your Jira sites read-only, and produces short, AI-generated summaries of issue comment threads, plus a flattened all-comments view. Summaries are generated by third-party large language models; the specific providers and models are disclosed in our Privacy Policy. Summaries are aids, not advice — see "AI output" below.

Your Jira account & authorisation

You must only connect Jira sites you are permitted to access, and only use Tasklore in line with Atlassian's terms and your organisation's policies. We access your Jira data solely to provide the Service, on the authorisation you grant during connection, which you can revoke at any time by removing the site or disconnecting in Atlassian.

AI output — accuracy & your responsibility

Summaries are produced by automated models and may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. They do not replace reading the underlying issue where it matters. You are responsible for any decision you make; we are not liable for reliance on a summary. Always confirm anything important against the source in Jira.

Plans, summaries & payment

The Service is paid, with no free tier. A subscription grants a monthly allowance of summaries that resets each billing period and does not roll over; top-ups add summaries that do not expire. When you generate a summary, we spend your monthly allowance first, then your top-ups. Generating a summary costs one summary; the all-comments view is free. Prices are shown at checkout, are inclusive of any applicable VAT, and are handled by Stripe (including tax calculation). Top-ups are one-off purchases.

Refunds & cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the customer portal; it remains active until the end of the current period and does not renew. Because summaries are a digital service supplied immediately, consumed allowances and top-ups are non-refundable except where required by law. If the Service materially fails, contact us and we will put it right or refund fairly.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no attempting to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access; no using it to process data you have no right to; no automated scraping beyond your normal use. We may suspend accounts that put the Service or others at risk.

Availability

We aim to keep the Service available but provide it "as is" without a guaranteed uptime. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, giving reasonable notice of material changes where we can.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, data, or goodwill; and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. The Service is intended for business use, so some consumer protections may not apply.

Self-hosting

If you run your own instance of Tasklore under a separate self-hosting or licence agreement, these hosted terms do not apply to that instance; your own agreement and your own configured providers govern it. Contact support@sielay.com about self-hosting.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
